IRC

IRC remains the primary communication channel for many private trackers and Scene groups. Most use the irc.libera.chat or irc.freenode.net networks.

Common channels:

• #redacted for Redacted tracker support
• Individual trackers list their IRC channels on their sites

Discord

Many tracker communities have migrated to Discord. Check each tracker's home page for a Discord invite link.

Staying Updated

• Subscribe to r/OpenSignups to catch open registration windows at major private trackers
• Follow TorrentFreak for major news (site takedowns, legal developments)
• Enable email notifications from private trackers you care about — they announce freeleech events and open recruitments there first
